Thanksgiving Service – August 5, 2012
Jamaicans are a blessed people and are renowned for giving thanks to the Almighty for our many blessings. The celebrations of Jamaica’s Golden Jubilee would not be complete without a Thanksgiving Service.
The 50th Anniversary Church Service promises to be extraordinarily different. It is designed to include all individuals who are desirous to celebrate Jamaica’s Golden Jubilee in reverence to God, and will be officiated under the theme, “Feel the Heart and Soul of a Nation – Jamaica 50 and Going Strong”
The exciting programme for this significant milestone includes: an Officiating Clergy of eight Senior Pastors from various denominations (Anglican, Baptist, Catholic, Church of God, Pentecostal, Seventh- Day Adventist); a combined 50-Voice Community Choir (compiled from various churches); performances by the Heritage Singers, the Toronto West SDA Youth Choir, the Praise Cathedral Dancers, the Pathfinders, among others.
The Thanksgiving Service will be held on Sunday, August 5, 2012 starting at 3:00 p.m. at the Revivaltime Tabernacle, 4340 Dufferin Street (south of Finch Ave. West). See you ALL there!
